This is one lantern.This is a bunch of them before I began the quilting. The quilt is called

What goes inside a lantern? A flame.
ReplyDeleteI'd find a book of Japanese crests and put a different one in each lantern.
ReplyDeleteI don;t think I would do something different in each lantern I would keep them the same and do a different background fill around them.... How about a curved crosshatch motif inside the lanterns... Just my opinion, you get what you pay for

ReplyDeleteI like your Lantern quilt that you are working on. Any variation of a log cabin is a good quilt.
