I finally know what I'm going to make for my entry in the "Art of the Kitchen" Quilt Art Invitational (which is due in July). I won't reveal totally what it will look like, but it involves lots of YUMMY brown/cream/beige/chocolate/coffee colored fabrics, perhaps a Spirograph set (have to find one), watercolor pencils, embroidery floss and plenty of experimenting.
I like to look at challenges like this as opportunities to learn something new. Whether it's new ways of using color, new techniques or new materials, what a great way to push yourself to try something new!
