A big thank you to all my readers for reading and supporting this quilting blog. I love writing and sharing about quilts, and appreciate you being there to follow what has been going on in my world.
As a special thank you, I’m hosting a giveaway of my second book “Contemporary Quilts From Traditional Designs. I don’t like blogs that make you jump through hoops to win something, so just leave a comment and say hello, and you’ll be included in the drawing on February 1st. It doesn’t matter where you live, as long as you’re on our planet. Passing the word along to your friends would be appreciated as well, but I’m not going to hire the blog police to make sure you do.
Thanks, also, to Annemart for her great article on me. I’m blushing…
So leave a comment, then go quilt something. By hand, please.
I love your blog - all your tips and ideas really help - thanks
ReplyDeleteLove your blog, Caron. Annemart`s post about you made me want to try and get hold of your books.

Caron, I've enjoyed following your progress on the DJ quilt. Thanks for all you do to promote handwork. And congrats on the new book!
ReplyDeleteI wanna win, I wanna win!;-)
ReplyDeleteForgot to ask... who is your publisher and when is the book being released? Like where can we buy a copy?
ReplyDeleteAnna
By the way, this book was published by the American Quilter's Society in 1988, so it's not a new book. It includes the work of quilters you might have heard of: Caryl Bryer Fallert, Jean Eitel, Flavin Glover, Ami Simms, Margery Cosgrove and others.
ReplyDeleteWell I went to AMAZON and I got me a copy... I know you were thinking about writing a new book and I thought this was it..... looking forward to delivery.
ReplyDeleteAnna

I just found your blog today. I love to quilt and am in awe of your quilting skills! Hope to win the book so I can get a close look at how you made the quilt on the front cover. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI just found this blog by searching for Michigan quilts as I grew up in Michigan around quilts and feeling nostalgic about them, live in FL now. Wonderful blog!
